Refugio is an idyllic, semi-isolated spot in which to "shelter-in-place" as spring arrives on the Central Coast. Local wineries are now open for in-person tasting, and our incredible selection of award-winning wines are also available for curbside pick-up. Our excellent restaurants are doing a great job of adapting to the new normal, and offer reasonable and delicious dishes for pick-up and/or delivery, as well as limited dine-in and spectacular outdoor spaces. At 7 minutes from the center of town, Refugio is within the delivery zone for all Paso Robles establishments that offer delivery. Farmer's markets are open and practicing physical distancing.
Cleaning and Disinfection: During this difficult time, we have taken additional steps beyond our usual cleaning procedures to insure the safety of our guests, our cleaning staff, and ourselves. All hard surfaces are throughly disinfected with bleach solution which is left on for 10 minutes, per CDC guidelines. Bath and bed linens (including pillow protectors and mattress pads) are washed at the maximum temperature; our extremely competent housekeeper, with us since our opening, wears a protective mask and gloves at all times when preparing Refugio for guests.
Normally, there is a two-night minimum stay. During the remainder of 2020, minimum stay will be three nights, and rental fees are substantially discounted for week-long stays. If you plan to work during your stay, you will enjoy our blazing-fast, recently upgraded Wifi service. Please contact us for further details:
Note: Suites are not available individually until further notice. Overnight occupancy is limited to six persons at all times. More than 2 additional guests for a day or evening event must be approved by owners.
